Conferences, Trainings, Events and Meetings

The Illinois Department on Aging provides comprehensive and contemporary educational offerings for aging service agencies. Many of the trainings offered by the Department are available for continuing education credits for nursing home administrators and social workers.

• Video Lending Library a collection of videotapes available for free, but limited, use through the Department on Aging.

Training for Aging Network Staff:

• Elder Abuse and Neglect Program
• Care Coordinator Certification and Re-Certification Training
• Homecare Supervisor Training Registration

CCP Procurement Training

Providers new to CCP will be sent the registration forms for New Provider Management Training upon approval of all applications and as a part of their Certification. No agency is allowed to attend without pre-approval from the Department. Registrations will be sent via e-mail for this bi-annual training.

Current Providers in need of their 3 year Renewal Training for continued certification will be sent the registration forms via e-mail. It is each agency's responsibility to assure they have received Renewal Training before their certification's expiration date. Training dates will be e-mailed as available.
